Treat your guests to this retro classic dish for a starter or nibbles, which are so easy and quick to make. Prawn Cocktail Canapés make an impressive platter and are delicious too.
INGREDIENTS
1 Little gem lettuce
150 g Prawns (cooked and peeled)
100 g Mayonnaise
2 tbsp Tomato ketchup
1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
Pinch of paprika To sprinkle
Chives (optional) Snipped
METHOD
- Cut the stalk from the lettuce and carefully separate the leaves. Wash and dry.
- In a small bowl mix the prawns with the mayo, ketchup and Worcestershire sauce.
- Spoon the filling into the lettuce leaves just before serving and sprinkle with a little paprika and/or chives.
